In-house appointment setter vs outsourced: an honest cost comparison

We run an outsourced floor, so treat this with appropriate suspicion. Here are the real numbers anyway, including when hiring in-house genuinely wins.

Why we write this

Most roofing marketing advice is written by people who’ve never made the call.

Our agents speak to thousands of homeowners a month. We hear the objections in real time, we see which openings get a conversation and which get hung up on, and we watch what happens to an appointment between booking it and the estimator arriving.

That’s the only thing we write about. Not general marketing theory, not whatever is trending — just what the phone actually tells us, and what it means for the money a roofing company spends on getting in front of homeowners.
